Where our donations come from
Did you know that donations are the only source of our books that we sell on our book wall and at our major sales events? Yes, 100% of the books we sell are donated by people like you!!
What we need
NEW and GENTLY USED Children's, Young Adult, and Adult books. This includes classics, current textbooks/reference books, softcover and hardcover fiction and nonfiction, graphic novels, current computer/tech books, and large print.
What we do NOT need
Hardcover books without dust covers
Books with excessively torn or ripped covers or pages
Textbooks/reference books that are more than five (5) years old
Computer/technical books that are more than three (3) years old
DVDs, CDs, or VHS tapes
Water damaged books
Books that are more than 50% highlighted or underlined
Puzzles or games
Used adult or children’s coloring books
Trash (yes, we sometimes get trash)

Bring your donations to the Mission Bend Branch Library & put them in the donation bucket. It's located by the circulation desk, but don't hesitate to ask one of our wonderful librarians or staff members if you cannot find the bucket.
